Music On!

As a former classical dancer, I always find that music has the power to influence our mood and create a special atmosphere.

While I am at home, in the stable, in the office or in the car, my days are always accompanied and enriched by music

Why do I listen to the music? Well, listening to music can offer several benefits, regardless of the activity you engage in.

Music has the power to uplift my mood and evoke emotions. It can make me feeling happier, more energized, or relaxed, depending on the type of music I am  listening  to.


It can  enhance motivation, especially during physical activities like riding or while I do gym. Upbeat and energetic tunes can boost my energy levels and improve my focus, allowing me to perform better and stay engaged in the activity.

Riding horses requires focus and concentration. Music can act as a distraction my external factors such as background noise or environmental disturbances, helping me to stay focus.


While I am at the gym, listening to music can alter the perception of time, making activities seem more enjoyable and less strenuous, and it also helps me to completely immerse myself and focusing on what I'm doing, music also can helps maintain a consistent rhythm, synchronize my movements.


Music has a calming effect and can help reduce stress and anxiety. It acts as a distraction from negative thoughts and can promote relaxation by lowering cortisol levels (the stress hormone) in the body. Slow and soothing melodies or nature sounds, in particular, can induce a sense of tranquility.

The choice of music is highly subjective and depends on personal preferences and the desired mood or atmosphere. You can choose among :


  • Classical: which promote  relaxation, focus, and a sense of elegance.
  • Ambient or instrumental:  is ideal for creating a tranquil and meditative atmosphere
  • Country or folk: evokes a sense of freedom, adventure.
  • Upbeat or pop: it can uplift your mood and keep you engaged.


Your personal taste in music plays a significant role in your enjoyment. Choose songs and artists that you genuinely love and resonate with. Experiment with different types of music and discover what works best for you in different situations and moods.
