It’s not easy to define Silvia Rizzo in a single phrase.

Italian Grand Prix dressage rider Silvia Rizzo has only recently returned from competing on the Florida show circuit and the flamboyant 36-year-old is now hopping a plane to show her globe-trotting black pearl, the Oldenburg stallion Donnerbube 2, at the prestigious invitation-only CDI 4* in Doha, Qatar.

Italy’s Silvia Rizzo, an accomplished grand prix dressage rider, made her inaugural trip to the United States this past winter, showing and soaking up the sun in South Florida. She piloted her powerful Oldenburg stallion, Donnerbube 2, to an ever-improving series of performances on the dressage circuit, smashing several personal records along the way.

You don’t typically think of dressage riders as rock stars. But then there’s Silvia Rizzo, the Italian, international dressage rider, PS Dressage fashion columnist and all around equestrian fashionista.

De Italiaanse dressuuramazone Silvia Rizzo bouwt haar paardensportbedrijf bij Resim Dressage in Harskamp verder uit en trekt daarbij de aandacht van sponsors van internationale modemerken. Eén jaar na haar  verhuis van Duitsland naar Nederland blijft Rizzo werken aan het verbeteren van haar prestaties in de dressuursport en breidt ze haar netwerk van leerlingen en klanten uit.
