Let’s be honest.
Talking about me must have been exhausting.
All that time spent dissecting my choices, my outfit, my job, my relationships, my hair (especially the hair — how dare it shine like that under the sun while you wilt in the shade?).
And after all that effort… how’s your life going?
Thriving? Glorious? Enlightened?
No?!?!?
Didn’t think so.
Because here’s the thing: Gossip is the therapy of the bored.
It’s what people do when they don’t have a dream — but desperately need a distraction.
And I? I just happened to be more colorful than their beige lives.
My joy? Provocative.
My progress? Offensive.
My peace? Apparently unacceptable.😂
Funny, isn’t it?
They act like they’re concerned, like they’re just “saying it like it is.”
Meanwhile, they’re stuck in the same loop of bitterness, staring at the same screens, telling the same stories about people who don’t even think about them.
People like me. 😂
You see, the difference is: I’m not in competition with you.
I’m too busy building a life I don’t need a break from — and honestly, too uninterested to return the favor.
I don’t need to watch your steps or comment on your falls.
I’m too focused on dancing through mine.
So next time you’re tempted to talk about me, ask yourself this:
What part of your life are you avoiding by obsessing over mine?
Because darling —
I keep shining.
I keep rising.
And your gossip?
Just background noise to my soundtrack of progress. 😉
