There’s one mistake many people make after a victory: they think the work is over.
As if that result were the ultimate proof of their worth.
I believe the opposite.
The real danger for a winner isn’t the opponent. It’s complacency.
It’s believing that what you’ve already done is enough.
That’s why, after a season full of excellent results — always on the podium with my horses — I decided to take a three-month break.
Not to rest, but to raise the bar.
I dedicated myself to the young horses, to refining every detail with all of them. Because it’s not enough to have done well: you must be ready to do even better.
For me, real strength lies here: training as if I hadn’t won yet.
As if I were still chasing, as if every day were an exam I hadn’t passed.
Those who lose train with hunger and fire. And I want the same approach: not letting victories make me complacent, but turning them into fuel to grow even further.
Next month, I’ll return to competition with all my five horses .
And it won’t be about defending what I’ve already achieved. It will be about proving that I never stopped earning it.
