There are places that feel like they’ve known me forever.
You don’t forget them.
Not because they’re the most beautiful or the farthest away — but because they make you feel exactly how you’re supposed to feel:
free, whole, unfiltered.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot.
For work, for passion, for curiosity.
And every time, something inside me shifted.
Some places taught me calm.
Others woke me up.
A few made me feel small in front of their vastness,
and some reminded me that I don’t need to become anything else.
I’ve learned to walk in silence,
to observe people who live differently,
to stop when everything moves too fast.
Sometimes just to watch a half-open window, or to follow a scent in the air.
I haven’t always understood what a place was trying to tell me.
Some messages took months to reveal themselves.
Others stayed with me — like a perfume that never fades.
And now I know that there are places that don’t ask you to be happy.
They only ask you to be.
With every part of yourself:
the strong ones, the tired ones, the ones you can’t explain yet.
Because some corners of the world don’t need to be photographed, or described, or posted.
You just have to remember them.
And know that — somehow — they’ve recognized you too.
