People love to ask what a typical day looks like.
I usually smile and say, “It depends.” ..... Because honestly, it does.
It depends on the season, the horses, the clients, the lighting, the deadlines — and how good my hair looks after the helmet. 😂
But if we’re being honest, here’s the truth:
My days aren’t calm.
They’re not perfectly structured.
They’re orchestrated — and sometimes improvised like a jazz solo at full volume.
Morning:
Wake up. No alarm. My brain does that job now.
Check emails from people 6,000 km away who think 5:47 AM is a great time to ask for a PDF.
Reply to what’s urgent, mentally rewrite my "to-do list " for the third time this week.
Hydrate. Breathe. Get moving — no caffeine required. (Yes, really!)
Get Dressed — Version 1.
Quick check at the stable before riding, catch up with the team, make sure the horses are where they need to be (emotionally and physically).
Answer a call I wasn’t expecting, nod while pretending I’m not in breeches and boots.
Start riding.
Change Outfit — version 2.
Midday:
In the stable. Focused. Present.
Working during the so-called “lunch break” — because horses don’t care what time it is, and neither do I.
Ride. Adjust. Repeat.
Think through three campaigns while galloping (multitasking, equestrian edition).
Change Outfit — version 3.
Zoom call with someone who thinks it’s morning.
Smile. Present. Lead.
Mute mic. Breathe.
Evening:
Maybe a shoot. Maybe more horses.
Maybe a second version of myself, one that wears lipstick and talks about “alignment” while mentally checking tomorrow’s schedule.
Workout comes late.
That’s when the gym becomes the only space that doesn’t ask for answers — just presence.
Not a reset, but a reminder: there’s strength behind all of it.
Dinner? If I remember.
Emails again. Messages again.
And yes, sometimes — still working at 10PM, because when you collaborate across time zones, “evening” is a moving target.
So no — it’s not balanced.
It’s not always graceful.
But it’s mine.
Built with intention. Fueled by passion.
And somehow, even on the messiest days —
I love it!!!
That’s the point: I don’t live for perfect days, I live for true ones.
Silvia ♥️
