And Then the Phone Rang.…

Published on 8 August 2026 at 20:11

Some days change without warning.

This morning, I had absolutely no idea that by the end of the day I would be this excited.

I was simply living my Saturday.

Riding .

Working.

Making plans.

Thinking about the next few days.

Nothing particularly unusual.

And then the phone rang.

An unexpected call.

A few words.

And suddenly my entire day changed.

In the best possible way.

I received some incredibly good news today.

The kind of news that makes it almost impossible to continue behaving as if it were just another normal Saturday.

Because suddenly you have more energy.

You start thinking ahead.

You start imagining what comes next.

And every few minutes that same thought comes back into your head:

This is actually happening.

I love that feeling.

Life can spend weeks moving quietly in one direction and then, sometimes, one phone call changes the entire perspective.

Something that was simply part of your thoughts suddenly moves closer to reality.

And the future gets a little more exciting.

That happened to me today.

And perhaps the funniest part is that I can’t tell you everything yet.

I will.

Very soon.

But tonight I simply wanted to share the feeling.

Because I think happiness deserves a little noise too.

We talk a lot about determination.

About working for things.

About patience.

About continuing when the result isn’t there yet.

But there is another part we shouldn’t forget.

The moment when something simply goes right.

That moment deserves to be enjoyed properly.

No analysis.

No strategy.

Just:

YES.

A very big, very happy YES.

So that is exactly where I am tonight.

Happy.

Excited.

And still smiling every time I think about that phone call.

It is amazing how quickly an ordinary Saturday can turn into a day you know you are going to remember.

And this one? I definitely will.

I can’t tell you why just yet.

But give me a few days.

This story is going to be fun.

Very fun. ❤️

Silvia
