Some journeys are measured in kilometres. Others are measured in meaning.
Today, my Ducati Monster began a rather unusual journey.
Not another ride through winding roads. Not a weekend escape. And certainly not an ordinary trip.
This time, she’s heading to Borgo Panigale, the place where Ducati’s story lives and where passion, engineering and Italian design come together.
And there’s a very particular reason.
Today, Leo, the owner of Affetto Ducati, personally came to collect my Monster, marking the beginning of a journey that means much more than simply transporting a motorcycle from one place to another.
Because at the other end of this journey, something truly extraordinary awaits.
An exceptional encounter. With someone whose name carries a significance that needs no introduction.
Who? That’s one secret I’m keeping. For now.
What makes this experience even more meaningful is everything happening behind the scenes.
This special opportunity has been made possible thanks to the coordination and collaboration of Ducati, Affetto Ducati, Ducati North Europe.
Three organisations coming together to make something genuinely remarkable happen.
I’m sincerely grateful to everyone involved for their enthusiasm, commitment and willingness to turn an extraordinary idea into reality.
I’ve always believed that motorcycles are much more than machines. They represent passion, individuality, emotion and the unique relationship we develop with something that becomes part of our lives.
And every once in a while, something happens that makes that connection even more meaningful.
This is one of those moments.
For now, my Monster is on her way to Borgo Panigale, and the most exciting part of this story is still ahead.
The reason behind this journey, the person at the centre of it and what makes this occasion so exceptional will all be revealed in a dedicated article.
One Monster. One extraordinary destination. One story still waiting to be told. ❤️🏍️
To be continued…
