One life. Give me the full experience.

There are things I love so much that, while I am doing them, I am already wondering when I can do them again.

That is a very particular kind of happiness.

I feel it with horses. I feel it on a motorcycle. And I feel it when a creative project catches my imagination and I immediately want to know more.

Each experience asks something different of me.

With a horse, I am paying attention to another living being. There is a conversation happening through movement, and I can feel the smallest answer. After years of work, that still fascinates me.

On the motorcycle, my attention takes another shape. I am absorbed in what I am doing, enjoying the road as it unfolds. A perfectly ordinary stretch of the afternoon becomes something I wish I could extend.

During a photographic shoot, I enjoy exploring expression: how a movement, a look or a beautiful piece of clothing can change the atmosphere completely.

I love having so many reasons to look forward to something.

Some interests become serious commitments. Others bring an afternoon of pure pleasure. Occasionally, something I try out of curiosity starts claiming considerably more space in my calendar.

My enthusiasm has excellent persuasive skills.

And yes, making room takes organisation. Horses need their care. Work needs to be done. There are only so many hours available.

That makes the hours I can choose particularly precious.

I want to spend some of them discovering what else moves me. To feel the excitement of being inexperienced at something I am eager to understand. To have a conversation that sends me home with a new idea.

There is something deeply beautiful about remaining available to that feeling.

Somewhere, there may be something I will love for years—and I haven’t tried it yet.

That thought alone makes me want to make room.
