Friday in Competition: Two Tests, Two Horses, One Focus 👊

Published on 25 January 2026 at 13:37

Competition days often compress months of work into a few minutes. What happens in the arena is never the full story — but it is a precise snapshot of where the process stands.

Last Friday, I competed with two horses in two different tests, under the same conditions and within the same timeframe.

With Ducati, we entered the Grand Prix, finishing second with 70,47%.

With MiniBubi, we competed in the Prix Saint-Georges, securing first place with 71,35% .

Same rider.

Same arena.

Two very different challenges.

Each test required a distinct approach — not in mindset, but in execution.

Different balance points.

Different degrees of collection and expression.

Different margins for correction.

The common element was focus.

On competition days like this, results are not about pushing.

They are about clarity: knowing exactly what to ask, what to leave untouched, and where precision matters more than intensity.

With Ducati, the work was about managing power and maintaining accuracy throughout the test.

With MiniBubi, it was about timing, lightness, and trust in the preparation done over time.

Both performances reflected the same principle:

adjustment over insistence.

Together for Success does not mean identical paths.

It means coherence across differences.

These results are part of an ongoing process — one that values consistency, attention to detail, and respect for each horse’s individuality.

The work continues. ❤️
