Podcast : Wellness Reimagined
Redefining Wellness Through Personal Practice
What if wellness has less to do with following the perfect routine — and more to do with knowing yourself well enough to understand what actually works for you?
In this conversation on Wellness Reimagined, we moved into territory that was slightly different from many of my recent podcast appearances.
We talked about training, excuses versus real limits, flexibility, discipline and the very personal meaning of feeling well.
Because wellness should never become another performance we put on for other people.
There is no universal formula.
What makes one person feel alive may exhaust another. What works today may need to change tomorrow. And taking care of yourself does not mean removing difficulty from your life.
Sometimes it means choosing difficulty deliberately.
We also talked about something my life with horses has taught me very clearly: when you are working with 700 kilograms of power, losing clarity is not particularly useful.
You learn to remain present.
You learn to manage your reaction.
And you learn very quickly that controlling everything around you was never an option.
Perhaps that is also a useful definition of wellness:
not creating a life without pressure, but building yourself so you can live fully inside it.
