πŸ”₯ Dancing on Dynamite – Our Grand Prix Ride in Weeze πŸ”₯

Our first outdoor show of the season kicked off with a bangand by bang, I mean Ducati-level energy. Focused, powerful, and absolutely electric, he entered the arena like he’d been waiting all winter to show what he’s made of.

Every movement felt effortless, like the test was flowing straight out of his body. The kind of power that doesn’t need to be forced — it just is.

The ride? A blend of energy and elegance (ok, mostly elegance). Because let’s talk about that final line: passage-piaffe-passage.
Up there, bouncing on this volcano of energy, all I could think was:

“Dear Lord, staying on board is priority number one.”

Spoiler: I stayed on. But it felt like bull-riding in a tutu. πŸ˜…

And while I usually obsess over precision (yes, I’m that person who dreams about perfect corners), this time I was so focused on channeling Ducati’s power that a few corners… well… didn’t exactly get the love they deserved.

And as any dressage rider knows: each movement is born and shaped by your corners.
So naturally, I had to work twice as hard to fix what I messed up by skipping them.
My trainer, with his classic “I won’t say it, but I will” look, told me after the test:

“If you cut the corners, you cut your score.”
Touché.

Still, we took home a strong second place with 70.26% — proud, pumped, and full of lessons to bring back to training.

Ducati, you were fire.
Me? I’ll be in the arena tomorrow, becoming one with the corner.
Because the real Grand Prix is the one you ride against yourself.

Stay tuned for the next show !
