After the Mistake: What Comes Next

Private Online Coaching with Silvia Rizzo

You made a mistake. You cannot undo it. But there are still decisions to make—and they deserve your full attention.

Perhaps you handled a conversation badly. Made a decision that did not work out. Missed something important at work or lost focus during a competition.

Now you keep replaying it. Explaining it. Imagining what other people think. Meanwhile, the situation still needs a response.

This coaching programme focuses on what you do next.

Taking responsibility. Understanding what happened. Correcting what can be corrected. And returning your attention to the actions available to you now.

Who This Programme Is For:

This programme is for people who find it difficult to move forward after a mistake or setback, particularly when expectations are high.

You may recognise yourself if you:

  • keep revisiting an error without reaching a useful conclusion;
  • let one poor decision undermine your confidence in the next;
  • spend more energy defending yourself than addressing the situation;
  • know you need to act, but feel caught between embarrassment, frustration and fear of getting it wrong again.

The starting point is a real situation from your personal, professional or sporting life.

What We Will Work On

Session 1 — Understand What Happened

We examine the situation carefully: what you did, what information you had, what you missed and which consequences actually followed.

We distinguish facts from assumptions, including assumptions about how others now see you.

The purpose is to identify your responsibility accurately and understand what needs attention.

Session 2 — Decide How to Respond

We work on the response the situation requires.

That may mean correcting a practical problem, acknowledging your part in a difficult conversation, changing an approach or making a decision you have been avoiding.

You will define concrete next steps and consider how to communicate them clearly.

Session 3 — Put the Learning into Practice

We review what happened when you took action: what helped, what remained difficult and what needs adjusting.

From there, we develop a personal approach you can return to after future mistakes, helping you recognise when reflection is producing useful information and when it has become repetition.

My Approach

Years in international Grand Prix sport and entrepreneurship have put me in situations where mistakes have consequences and the next decision cannot wait.

That experience shapes my work as a Certified Life Coach.

I will listen, question assumptions and help you examine your choices honestly. We will work with the circumstances you face and the actions you can take.

You cannot control another person’s reaction or guarantee the outcome. You can take responsibility for how you respond.

Programme Format

Three private online sessions of 60 minutes each, with practical actions agreed between meetings.

The sessions follow a clear structure while adapting to your situation and progress.
