The second destination was Andalusia.
And yes, this time the sunshine showed up.
There are places where arriving makes you want to unpack. Andalusia makes you want to go straight outside.
The light, the warmth, the colours—suddenly, twenty-four hours sounds like a rather unreasonable limit.
But that was the window.
Another short trip, another shooting, another opportunity to step into a different setting and give the project my full attention.
I enjoy that change.
So much of my life involves moving between different worlds. Then I arrive somewhere like this, and for those hours the work in front of me becomes everything: a different mood, a different way of moving, a different part of myself to bring to it.
Andalusia gave this chapter its own character.
There was a brightness to it, an energy that I wanted to stay with a little longer. Work can take you somewhere beautiful and still leave you wanting to return simply to enjoy the place.
This was one of those occasions.
What I am sharing now is a first selection from that stop. There is more to reveal as the project unfolds, and I like letting each part have its moment.
For now, the second destination has a name.
Andalusia.
A very good reason to board a flight—and a less convincing reason to board the one home.
